Dr. Thomas L. Ainscough
Dr. Thomas L. Ainscough is an Associate Professor at the Tiedemann College of Business at the University
of South Florida St. Petersburg, and a regular Visiting Associate Professor at the City University of Hong Kong and Professor Doctor at the Institute of International Studies, Ramkhamhaeng University, Bangkok.
He received a Ph.D. in Business Administration from the University of Georgia with a major in Marketing and a minor in Information Systems. In addition, he holds a Master's Degree in Business Administration and a Bachelor of Science Degree in Marketing.
Professor Ainscough teaches International Marketing and Promotion Management at USF. He has also taught study abroad courses in International Business in Shanghai, Beijing, Hong Kong and Guangzhou, China; Bangkok, Thailand; Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam and Antigua, Guatemala.
He has published articles in Marketing Letters, The Journal of Consumer Marketing, The Journal of Macromarketing (JMM), The Journal of Business Ethics, The Journal of Services Marketing, The Journal of Travel and Tourism Marketing (JTTM), The Journal of Financial Services Marketing, and The Journal of Retailing and Consumer Services, and many others. He received Best Article of the Year awards from JTTM and JMM.
Professor Ainscough has been a speaker at numerous international conferences. Past engagements include the The China Marketing International Conference in Xuzhou, China; American Society for Business and Behavioral Sciences in London and Las Vegas, The Academy of Marketing Science in Vancouver, British Columbia; INFORMS in Sydney, Australia and Paris, France; The Association for Business Research in Acapulco, Mexico; and The Association for Consumer Research in Montreal, Quebec.
